Step 1:

QHP Team Will: Process Your Contract
  • Introductory contact (text, email, or phone call) made by coordinator to welcome you to the Quality family and outline next steps. If you have questions or concerns, please call 281-955-3400 ext. 5000 or email [email protected].
  • A Project Coordinator will be assigned to your installation to provide a single point of contact and to guide you through the installation.

QHP Team Will: Confirm, Review, Request
  • Confirm your electric & gas providers. (These are usually confirmed in the home before signing paperwork)
  • Review project for code compliance.
  • Request approval from your electrical provider for the Automatic Transfer Switch, which allows us to safely disconnect and reconnect power on installation day. (This step can sometimes take up to 4-6 weeks).
  • If ATTIC electrical/gas run is needed, tech visits home to confirm feasibility. (QHP will need someone over 18 home to let our technician in to look in the attic)
Client To-Do:
  • Obtain HOA approval (if required).
  • Share HOA approval with us.

Step 3A:
Permitted Projects

QHP Team Will: Apply, Coordinate, Notify
  • Apply for all required permits once approvals are in place.
  • Coordinate with financing if applicable.

  • Let us know if there is any livestock or pets to be aware of.
  • If your project includes a poured concrete slab-or if you
  • simply prefer one-please keep in mind that it may add a
  • little extra time to your installation. This is because the city requires inspections for concrete work, and weather can occasionally cause delays. We’ll keep you updated every step of the way to make the process as smooth as possible.
  • Client needs to move obstructions, plants, trees, etc. If applicable.

Step 5:
Pre-Installation

PurAir Will: Install Compressor Saver

Texas-New Mexico Power typically disconnects service before our crews arrive and will not reconnect it until the Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) is fully installed.
